Save My Day

Delete Your Account

Last updated: August 2026

You can delete your Save My Day account at any time, directly in the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent. This page explains how to do it, what gets removed, and what to do if you can no longer open the app.

1. Delete your account in the app

Open Save My Day and follow these steps:

  • Tap the profile icon in the top right of the home screen
  • Scroll to the bottom of your profile
  • Tap "Delete account"
  • Confirm with "Delete permanently"

The account is deleted straight away. You do not need to wait for a reply from us, and there is no request queue.

2. What gets deleted

Confirming the deletion permanently removes:

  • Your account and sign-in details, including your email address and any linked Google or Apple sign-in
  • Your name, profile details and language preference
  • Your saved places and favourites
  • Your plans and planning history
  • Your preferences, interests and city settings
  • Your premium entitlement in the app

This cannot be undone. Signing up again later creates a new, empty account.

3. What we keep, with no link to you

A small amount of data is kept after deletion, but your user ID is stripped from it so it can no longer be traced back to you:

  • Feedback and support messages you sent us, so we can still act on reported problems
  • Anonymised usage records used to measure how features perform

We keep this only in anonymised form. It contains no name, no email address and no account identifier.

4. Download your data first

When you tap "Delete account", the app offers "Download data first" before anything is removed. This exports a copy of your account data to your device.

We recommend doing this if you want to keep your saved places or plans, because we cannot restore them once the account is gone.

5. Subscriptions are billed separately

If you have a Save My Day subscription, deleting your account does not cancel it and does not stop billing. Subscriptions are managed by Google Play, not by us.

Cancel your subscription in the Google Play Store first, under Payments and subscriptions, then delete your account.

6. If you cannot open the app

If you have lost access to the app or your device, email us and we will delete the account for you:

privacy@savemyday-app.com

Write from the email address the account was created with, so we can confirm the account is yours. We will not delete an account on the word of an address we cannot match to it. Requests made this way are completed within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
